God, the Atheists and the Believers - In the House of al-Akhir Part II, a Princely Tale

In the House of al-Akhir II
My Love is a House,
Beautifully built with all
The perfection and passion
Of the Perfect Builder,
That is Me,
God.

My Love is a Garden,
Seeded to perfection of bloom
With the most pleasant and pretty
Of flowers and nourishing fruits
That the Perfect Gardener
Can bequeath, That is Me,
God.

My Love is a Song,
Spun on the lips of lovers,
Sighing in their entwined passion,
And the eternal patience of
A love unconditional born
Of the Perfect Lover,
That is Me,
God.

My Love is the morning
That greets you when you wake up,
My Love is the evening
That beckons you to rest and succor,
My Love is the Sun of daytime
And the Moon of twilight,
Created by the Perfect Creator,
That is Me,
God.

My Love is a Story
Written by the Best Writer,
That is Me,
God.

My Love is a Forest of your dreams and wakefulness,
Whether you are guided, whether you are lost,
You are in My Love always,
So why despair at all?

My Love is a Story
Yet to be written,
But promised unto you
By the Best of He Whose Promises are Never Broken,
That is Me,
God.
……………………………….

The smartest, kindest and best-mannered of the Atheists do not set their accusations and arguments against God but against the followers of God and their mistaken, ill-judged and hubris-centric edicts on mankind.

Atheist, non-believers, however you would label
them, my eye is still towards them. In fact
each day brings me greater news of a better
tomorrow to come. How can I ever turn away
when a Prince in the House of al-Akhir,
the late al-marhum Shaykh Raja Ashman Shah
ibni Sultan Azlan Shah had never once turned
away from me? al fatiha
But in the midst of the intellectual conflict, alas, it is God that gets the bad name. But for a non-entity that Atheists think God to be, it is a triumph nonetheless, for however they protest, God is in their mind, though misunderstood.

Many Atheists are smart in fact, and as a sinner myself, I would be the last man to claim understanding of His Awesomeness, our Lord God. In fact, given a change of heart, a change of circumstances, I have a sense that the most sincere and intelligent Atheists would be among the best of believers. For such is their fealty to their dogma.

But at the cosmic level, we understand that things happen as they are meant to happen. Even disbelief is fated in the great tapestry of fate of the Weaver of Fate, that is Him, God. But at the individual human level, it is my hope that people, both believers and Atheists alike shall find God in the Universal Language of Love. After all, it is His Universe still.

I am resting my spirit on this thought today, while the world spins and orbits around the great mark of His Greatness, the life-giving Sun.

Does God Believe in You? - Prose of Ramadhan Part 19

I woke up this morning thinkin’ to myself, “Hmm. Maybe I should put up a poll / survey” on my blog. The only worrying thing is that nobody will participate!” But in the course of thinking up a question, the first thing that crossed my mind was to ask this – Do you believe in God? Then immediately the question (which has been obsessively asked by preachers and thinkers anyway) was overtaken by a more interesting question. One less often asked, and that is – Does God believe in you?

DOES GOD BELIEVE IN YOU? To free your mind of worry and thinking, I will give you a straight answer to a straight question. Yes, He believes in you. The fact that you are sitting there reading this means that you are actually continuing to exist. That he has given you the air to breath, the water in your body to cool down your intemperate seasons, and essentially a mind and a heart. He also gave you a laptop, iPad or Blackberry to enable you to scour through the vastness of the internet. Had He opted to stop believing in you, you would simply cease to exist. You would become a book never read and a story never written. But there you are… magnificently existing with the rest of humanity, whom I guess, God also continues to believe in. Doesn’t He read the news? Doesn’t He see the horrifying things that man do to each other, and to the world itself? Doesn’t He observe how time and time again, we promise to do better, we promise to make a change. We promise to quit smoking and we promise to be more patient? And how we often fail to fulfill our promise to ourselves? So why does God believe in us?

WHY DOES GOD BELIEVE IN YOU? Why don’t you ask God Himself. After all, everyone that believes in God must believe that He is All-Seeing and All-Knowing. I think the answer is this – He has too because we don’t believe in ourselves most of the time. We often hedge our bets in wanting to do anything. Qualifying our intent and effort when God Himself has said that He has raised mankind above all else in Creation (including Angels and other infinitely more worthy beings). So we are lucky to have God to be like God and continue to believe and cherish us. Just like our mothers, you see. You will always be the seed of beauty and promise in your mother’s eyes. You will forever be the bright-eyed genius who will go far in this life and be loved by many people – that is how your mother perceives you. So treat her right, for she is only doing what God Himself is doing!
Kun Fayakun
BUT WHY DO WE NOT BELIEVE IN OURSELVES? Hehehe. That is because we do not fully comprehend God. Thus what we believe about God is limited by our understanding and what God elects to inform us. This is a limitation not suffered by the Prophet Muhammad, whose belief in God is unparalleled in creation. And at this level which I am presumptive to analyse – God is saying ‘Be!’ (Kun!-arabic) and the Prophet is replying ‘And it is!’ (Fayakun!)

So have a nice Sabbath contemplating this, sunshine. God believes in you. He has not forsaken you. So believe in yourself, and do not forsake yourself. Do this for God and for your mummy.
I am trying, Mama...

No Division in Knowledge, and Disbelief is a Servant of God

When God created, it is to teach man about himself, about the world that surrounds him and how it interconnects to the singular Beauty that is God. Thus, the world is like a classroom and it is only ONE classroom. And your short life is essentially only ONE period of a day in school. And in that period you are to learn all that is needed to be learned for you to find God, peace and happiness. Teachers come in different hats carrying different books but ultimately they are teaching you from one single source - God the Loving Himself. But man are easily confused with labels of knowledge and it is sad that...
.
The division of knowledge
Between spiritual knowledge
And physical knowledge is
The biggest lie swallowed
By modern man.

The boss of your office, the headmaster of your school, and some priests of your church, mosque or synogogue will draw the line between the material and the spiritual practises - Saying they are not the same. Yet the truth is known to other priests, and they would confide in you that...
.
The division of life
Between secular habit and
Spiritual ritual is another
Whopper of a lie often
Swallowed by man.

I say this, because the Universe is conspiring to tell us every freakin' moment that...

Your Lord has no divisions,
He is One and unto Him
There is no partition.
All things, all creatures
And all occurrences
Bear witness to this,

To bring you, me and the cat named Moses to this truly fascinating conclusion, that...

Ultimately, there
Can be no real disbelief,
For even disbelief
Is a creation and
Servant of God.

Have a perfect Saturday, sunshine.
