God and His Easy Devotions, The Prophet and His Love for Children

God and His Easy Devotions. In Islam, God has made it supremely easy to pray and talk to Him, whether it is the five daily obligatory prayers or the many(many!) recommended prayers through which He beckons your loving attention. Apart from these prayers there are additional practices which also counts as devotional acts like doing charitable works- but typically, the Benevolent God counts as holy devotions some of the most natural things you can ever imagine doing for love. - The simple act of gazing with love...

45. The five virtuous acts (Ariffin) No. 5
If you are a husband, to gaze upon the face of your wife.
If you are a wife, to gaze upon the face of your husband.
If you are a father or mother, to gaze upon the face of your children.

Following the creation of the Soul of Muhammad
The Lord encompassed this first soul with His Divine Gaze,
And many transactions came from the Gaze,
And from the transactions came many pearly sweat
And from the pearly beads were created
The heavenly and earthly worlds,
And all inhabitants therein, angels, djinn and men,
Believers and unbelievers.

So gaze!
As Ahad gazed upon the soul of Muhammad,
As the soul of Muhammad gazed upon its own reflection in a mirror,
And upon the souls of the prophets and saints,
And they in turn, believers and unbelievers alike,
Gazed back upon the first soul
In awe and wonder.

Long, long ago,
Before time began as we understand it to be.

The Prophet and His Love for Children. The Prophet(pbuh) had an ocean of love for children. One day a Bedouin saw the Prophet(pbuh) kiss a child and commented, "You love children very much. I have ten children and I have never kissed one of them." The Prophet(pbuh) looked at the Bedouin and replied, "What can I do if God takes away love from you?"  May divine blessing always rain on all children and may they rise in the Love and Most Merciful Gaze of their Maker, God of all humanity.

Have a lovely day, sunshine.

wa min Allah at-taufiq

Hate has no place in Islam
Love will show the Way
